Helping survivors reclaim their lives through rescue & restoration.

Extract Effect’s Freedom Force was created as part of a multidisciplinary response to locate missing children and put an end to child trafficking. Working hand in hand with law enforcement, members of the judicial and legal system and medical staff, we leverage resources and data to gather intelligence then send in a rescue team to bring the child(ren) home safely.

We work with outstanding local people and projects to share resources, strengthen capacity and ensure the apprehension and prosecution of predators. This specialized team, combined with God’s grace, makes it possible for EE to transform lives.

Once Freedom Force has rescued a child, we make sure they have the essential post-trauma support in order to encourage healing, hope, growth and resilience throughout and beyond reintegration. A survivor’s brain is impacted by trauma, rewired to remain in a fight-or-flight state. Brains can eventually regulate themselves, and warriors can then touch on their stories without reliving the trauma every time.

Of the nearly 25,000 runaways reported to National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in 2017, one in seven were likely victims of child sex trafficking. Of those, 88 percent were in the care of social services when they went missing.
